See, the one time I went to the Grand Canyon I was all like "It looks just like... all those pictures I've seen of the Grand Canyon all my life." THESE pictures of the Grand Canyon LOOK BETTER THAN THE GRAND CANYON. Which may just mean that I have a shriveled, pathetic soul. I've also heard it helps if you go down over the rim a bit to get a sense of scale.
